Ride from Burnout Paradise as a Lego model
About this creation
Hi!

My next MOC isn't an unknown car. It just doesn't exist.

Carson GT, Camaro-inspired muscle car, is one of the best cars in Burnout Paradise.
Explanation: Burnout itself is a "racing" video game basically just about crashing cars... Well.

But why did I build an unlicensed Camaro copy?!

At first, I built a chassis with some special function, and then decided what car it would be, but more about it later.

Front. Turned out more retro than I wanted. 8-wides are twice bigger than my usual cars, you know. Definately out of my comfort zone, yet building them it's a fun experience!

Some of the side. Speed Champions mudguards are made for 8-wides!

The side. Classic line. Doesn't look much like a Carson, but it's cool.
Now you may see the 2nd special function!

Back!

Now it looks like a Cama... I meant Carson!

2nd special function: opening doors!

Interior. LCD speedometer, some details, like the A/C. But no pedals this time. Door hinges were far more important this time!

Rear view mirror. Yaaawn.

Theoretically V8 engine is practically a straight 6. Let's say that the black thingy covers the 2 other cylinders.

Spacious boot for many things. You can even store a Jawa here!

NO! Accident happened: the mirror and bumper fell off!

But that damages are nothing compared to the 1st special function:

Cutting car in half!
Even the engine splits - it has trans-orange plates inside making a hot metal impression.

My model's fully damageable: the roof can be smashed, and the bumpers, hood (which's held only by gravity), seats, doors and mirrors can be easily detached.

Do you want to know how to build it?

That's all.

G'bye!
