Doberman: Assault configuration
Big Guns. Really Big freakin' Guns.
About this creation
You can now read a story featuring this mech at Abandoned Towers.

  • Artillery pack with twin howitzers

  • RCNG27

  • NERD pair

  • GrimScythe

A Doberman equipped with about as much punch as it can carry, with the greatest range and the greatest yield in raw megatons of firepower. A well-organized pack of Assault-ready Dobermen has hever failed to subdue a target.
The price for all that firepower is speed. Bogged down under all that gear, the thrusters become all but useless. These brutes are especially susceptible to small threats; RPG snipers and their lot. When dropships are unavailable, swift support units should accompany Assault Dobermen on long marches for added defense.
Technically, a Doberman can wield a pair of GrimScythes, along with the Howitzers. However, this is rarely seen in the field, as the weight bogs the mech down to a crawl, effectively turning an otherwise mobile unit into an immobile battery. Also, I don't have the parts to build 2 GrimScythes at once.

Weapons stowed. Whenever possible, the Doberman will hold the massive plasma cannon with both hands, distributing the weight more evenly.

The beast brings its full firepower to bear.

The last thing seen by many fallen foes.

This is good, nice design, the reason I didn't give you 4 stars is that there are to many colours, maybe turn it all in gray, it would stand out more, just a thought, good luck on your next creation. Kris,
