Wow, two MOTD in a week, what luck! I'm glad some of you mentioned you saw it in the Xbox magazine, it was purely coincidence that one of the editors stumbled upon this creation and the magazine needed something for their "I <3 Xbox" section.
Didn't you just get a MOTD? well anyways nice job on that. amazing feat. haha. nice tilt to the platform it really reminds me of that scene in national treasure 2 where they are balancing on a spare platform in the middle of an endless pit
First off, congrats on MOC of the day! And FINALLY a halo moc that I can relate to! I have never understood these things, and now... I have actually played this level and recognized it immediately. It is one of my friend's favorite levels, and he showed it to me once. I, since I am not... good at the game, had to sit in the passenger seat and watch the awesomeness go on.
Noobs like Darcy Guerin Hanlon, who hate the Halo series and are obsessed with the Half-Life series, obviously have nothing better to do than go around and spam Halo creations. First of all Darcy, Halo is here to stay, so get used to it, and second, there's no law that says you have to go and look at the Halo creations in the first place.
I saw this model on Xbox Magazine and I was like, "Whoa! Didn't I see this on MOCpages?" Anyway, good job! I really like the way you positioned everything from the falling platform to the airborne Warthog! It really captures the climax of that final level! Good job and keep it up!
P.S. Saber Scorpion has also gotten included on Xbox magazine a few years ago.
You make my Warthog look bad. I love it in any way possible. Be sure to check out my WarthogV2.5 and please write a review for it( I'm running low on them). And remember, if you review me, I'll review you.
Oh my God...you know, I would have been floored (pardon the pun)if you had used my warthog design instead...it's the lack of SNOT isn't it? Or is my work just not pretty enough...Regardless, this is truly the best Halo 3 MOC I've ever seen. It always good to see people with talent building halo. The platform is awesome, the placement of objects is right on and the photography is seamless. Awesome work.
Without even touching on the fact that it's Halo (For shame, Nannan! For shame!) it's a great diorama. The way you tilted the landscape is really impressive, it helps a lot to convey the overall chaos and action in the dio. VROOOOOMMMMMM!
Now that's more like it!!!! Welcome to the rarified air of uber-sweet Halo MOC's. To the best of my knowledge, you stand along side Kescenovitz, overlooking the endless plain of Halo mediocrity. Thanks for a refreshing and beautiful creation! Well done!!
