"Busted!" a dio-vig
Not quite a diorama but too bit for a vignette = Dionette? Vigrama?
About this creation
After working on Nanny's Black Fantasy comp and
checking out some PostApoc stuff on Flickr, I just
needed to cheer myself up with a bit of colour
for a break! Mainly a quick experiment centered
on graf or street art. The tag reads "Loita" as in "loiter".
A few of my mates are 'writers' so this is a tribute
of sorts to them. This is by no means a definative take
on the grafitti theme; there's room to do a lot better than this,
particularily on a larger scale. You could add
more colours and wall textures, etc. Got the idea
after seeing Other Shannon's "Wall" posts.
Check em out-they're a zillion times better than this crap!

Originally the idea was to angle the wall so that the graf had an italic slant to it and just cover the top and bottom but it proved too much hassle. This was supposed to be a BREAK from my other hassles!

Steps back to admire his work

"Hey, not bad!"

Copper: "Oi! You with the very baggy pants-freeze!"

"Don't think about running mate!"

Cue Benny Hill chase music!

Copper: "My rocket assisted police dog will get ya!"

Copper "Oh #@*% he's after the both of us! Run you clod!!"

"Do you think he'll go away...?"

Dog: "pant pant...sniff sniff..."

Wow, Ok, right as I started looking at it, I had inadvertently started listening to the perfect Charlie Chaplin funny chase music. That's hilarious.

Loita? I always thought it said Iona for some reason. It looks like Iona, and it makes sense if you think abot it for a minute. (If you don't know, Iona is a holy island off the coast of Scotland, and one of the most poplar locatons for christian pilgrimages. There's also a new age sort of band called Iona. I thought this mght have been something to do with the music)

Very inspiring urban culture scene, a great graffitti (starters' ones are worse than pro-painters' ones; and I know what I''m talking about cuz I almost became a regular graffitti painter... though I lacked skill xD) Great idea for the dog, how did you attach the rocket to it, and where did you get the dog from (have none myself)?

Excellent work! Thank you for having invented the LEGO graffiti theme, and this creation really inspired me! :) Thank you for your review, and you're so right about the small space on the truck's side, I actually wanted to make a bigger graffiti. I'm still glad you liked it :)

Great work! I'm starting to appreciate your photography against a black background. I like the minimalism that goes with this vig and the tiling work. Keep up the cool concepts

And I was actually going to try making a graffiti-tagged one for the third set of Walls... now I don't have to. Phew! I'd have only screwed it up.
