Left Behind (Vignette)
Vignette depicting a clone who's a Prisoner of War...to the emptiness of a forgotten world.
About this creation

The invasion done
The battle won
Many died
The cruisers flied

Away from this place
That has lost its face
But still one remains behind
Presumed dead, but still alive

The sky dimming, the light failing
Death lost, but is now prevailing
Our friend who fought as a hero
Has been forgotten on ground zero

No one to talk to, he is alone
Much like in the Twilight Zone
He still awaits rescue but soon will find
That this hope exists only in his mind

Inspiration for writing a poem with a MOC comes from Nannan Z, you can click here for a link to it, along with his Cyclopean Horror. Back to my vig, [that's what this page is all about] it's 24x22, [in lego studs] well beyond the size of a normal one, but I needed the extra space to get the point across I'm trying to make, whatever it is. And the vent pieces are used as sewer grating, with the black 2x2 circular pieces being manholes. I think that this turned out better than the first one, [vignette] and many more are on the way.

In response to Christopher, it's supposed to be depressing. And the landscape is purposely bleak.

In response to 'Common Sense', he is a prisoner of war in an indirect manner. He is a prisoner to loneliness because of the war, so in a way he is a POW.

In response to Chris, that's war [well put], and that's life.

In response to Edwin, it was the same color, used the same pieces to get the curviture, and you posted it 1 day after he did. And your version of "revenge" makes me laugh. Really.

In response to Daniel, I used paint.

yeah, seriously, quit spamming this, because it deserves better than that.it is not supposed to look awesome(although it does),it has a meaning.and btw, would you rate LegoLord365's tribute to thos who have fallen9or something similar to that)down because 'it is boring' or 'it doesn't have a point' because this is good!

Great job, very poetic, and very sad! At first, the whole setting looks much like a prison (I really thought the clone really WAS in a prison cell of some type), with those vulture droid remnants at the right of the battlefield. Man, if this isn't loneliness, then what is it? PS: Would give it more than five, but sadly it's impossible. All in all, great.

nice job, i like it more than your other bigvigs. it really potrays that sad feeling (like you said in my lone sniper moc). i would just ad some more equipment around it though (like some binoculars, weapons, greanades). i cant wait for more.

very great vignette (i have visited your homepage a multitude of times, and finally decided to post) (gotta love the guy below me, i looked at the thing you commented of his as well) now, back to the vignette. it is amazing, simply put. the wreckage is amazing, the sewer (i think thats what it was if i remember what i read) is very nice, and the whole vignette is a work of art. and the story itself is quite good (one question though: did you edit the pictures on the clones to add the detail (like spray on, the red stuff on the side) or did u edit the clones themselves?

im soorry, but i have to get revenge. you rated my creation 2 because you THOUGHT it was a ripoff. there was huge differences. his bed was much smaller than mine and mine had pillows and stuff. 1/5

I simply adore clone troopers and stromtroopers, it's a very good idea to make little stories like that, and the MOC is excellent ! (By the way, a big thanks for you reviews !)

Pretty good! I like the poem, but from learning from people who such things, and writing them myself, I think maybe you should rhyme every other line. But that's just one way of writing them. You could use many ways of writing them...anyway, sorry for rambling on like that, cool vig!!
