A powerful main battle tank - A test in building techniques. Almost studless, asymmetrical, New track layout, and a cartoon style.
About this creation
First of all; Brunt is the main force or impact of something. I figured it to be fitting for a main battle tank.
My first moc in a while, and is basically another test, in terms of it's overal style, track layout, new details, better guns, cartoon style, cockpit, and more. Thanks for looking at my test subject, I hope you like my hours outcome of toil.
The big steel grin of the imposing tank.
Note the new styled track layout, and something new to me, an actually well designed big turret. The vent detail on the sides was a technique I learned on classicspace forums.
I use the black and yellow checkerboard in any model I can. Gives it some kind of flare I guess.
Sadly I have no other technique for making a rocket launcher thingy. Here is a good shot to note the asymmetry, cockpit and everything is offcentred.
Detailing on the back. Some extra track, some random chain.. some boards..
Also the detail on the chaingun attatched to the extra turret, the chain hanging down is supposed to be ammo. Yay, an actual detail.
The cockpit is a new test for me too, I really like how it came out. I guess many will think it would look better with a clear 1x2, but the main turret and this peice are exactly aligned, so I thought it could be some kind of aiming function.
Thanks for looking. I hope you enjoyed my test subject. Any comments and critisizm are greatly appreciated, thanks for your time.
Well... I would have put it 3/5 but that missile/rocket launcher is really cool. What I don't like is all that yellow. I also don't like the box-like shape of it. You should make it slope or just flatten the entire tank or something. Also: why does the insignia have to be yellow (ugh), and black? you should make it a better color. Otherwise, increadible missile/rocket launcher!
This tank is amazing! The track design is so out there, that it adds greatly to the overall shape of it.
I like it

I like the yellow on the front, as well as some of the other "cartoonish" colours you used, but they could be a little more pronounced. The weapons are very good, though, as well as the cockpit construction and the tank threads. -Prophet Zarquon
I agree with Shannon, but it gets a 5/5 from me because of the missle attachment. That thing is so sweet. Good tank, and the insigna is sweet [and would the insigna implicate that the missles are nuclear?]!
A very nice tank - big and chunky. The front, although interesting, does look like a big wall. I will have to agree w/Shannon in that a bit of slope/angle (other than 90) would go a long ways. Excellent design on the tracks. Lee.
Only two things: you should replace the yellow like Shannon said, and also the purple thing on the front. Generally make it less colorful. Also, the random stuff on the back messes with the smoothness of the rest of the tank. Apart form that, I think this is an excellent tank. You've put those techniques to good use, so build another one.
Lose the yellow, except for the little checkerboard insignia. I also think the front should be angled, not only for practicality -- which I know you weren't going for -- but because it would look better than a blunt vertical wall. Interesting study.
Great job, am I honestly the first reviewer?? Better point out how strong the front is (unless I misread something), or people might say that the front is an easy target! Other than that, the design is very original! -please review my stuff-
