Out of gas? It's hard to come by in the apocalypse.
About this creation
ATTENTION! IN EVENT OF ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE, BUILD A WIND BUGGY.
As you can imagine, there aint much gas around in the apocalypse. This guy has wised up and built a handy-dandy kitebugy using a wooden door, some rope and chain and an airplane wing.
A shot of the overall scene. I have included an oil rig in case you can't recognize the big black peice of machinery, It pulls oil from the ground. These are usually found in desert areas, and resemble this: CLICK! (click to see an actual one)
a shot of the windbuggy coming at you. The man leans back and works his various ropes and chains to get his desired speed and direction.
shot of the whole scene, including the back of the windbuggy. I tried my best to make the road beat up, and I attempted to build a cactus to put by it. Un fortunetly the cactus looked more like an alligator, so I abandoned the idea.
another close up of the buggy. The wind is strong at the moment, the pilot has to put a lot of effort into keepin the buggy from doing a flip.
the crashed car. Apparently it's been sitting there for a while, it's covered in foliage. I like to think of this as a metaphor for the earths crumbling. If you saw a car on the side of the road, would'nt you stop to fnd out what's going on? no, not this guy for various reasons:
1)It could be zombie infested
2)It could be an ambush (by one of the apoc. gangs)
3) it's most likely out of gas, why risk stopping while the wind is faorable?
the long dead and decomposed driver had apparently ran out of gas, and is holding an empty can.
Your story just keeps on getting better and better. I especially like the crashed car and the oil rig . . . if you were ever in a zombie apocolypse, you'd know how to survive, obviously. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE visit my new submarine on my home page!
Your stuff just keeps getting better and better in both concept and build. Just one problem and here's your solution. Go down to Walgreens, get a blue and a tan sheet of poster board, put the tan one under your Apoc moc and the blue behind it and... presto! None of that pesky background noise. Your stuff is just too good to have a dresser drawer in the background! Come on Don, Throw me a bone here! I know you just put this up but... can't cait for the next one! Later ~ Chris.
Brilliant! I wish to make some points: 1. I wanted to do a oil rig post apoc scene but you beat me do it! 2. You could at least provide instructions on how to make our own real life wind surfers, 3. maybe the cactus mutated into an alligater from toxic waste/fallout and 4. the abandoned car is fantastic. Love it mate! Well done.
I like it

Cool but try to make the picture clearer. overall nice job.
Very nice! I might suggest that you take some of the plants off of the car and put some "sand" on it.
There isn't so much plant life in a desert...but great work overall, and the oil rig is a nice touch./
