Red Samurai
About this creation
After making my black samurai, I thought, i bet i could do a better job on my next one. This MOC contains absolutely no part cutting or gluing, everything is held by either the natural tension of the lego peices or through the use of rubber bands. Here i used both samurai body armor and 2 knights kingdom face-plate pauldrons. I decided to make a more interesting helmet, I found that i could stick plumes into both sides of the samurai helmet. I also found that if I elevated the head slightly i could pinch a visor to the front of the helmet. I decided to go with an oversized kama as his weapon.

I chose to give him a large kama as a weapon. It is really too large to be a kama, which are similar in shape to scythes, but smaller. It is lego, so I thought, why couldn't a samurai have that as a weapon, it looks cool with him.

I used a black visor to make a face mask, it is held by tension to the helmet. The samurai's katana is held on his back by the same rubber bands that hold the paudrons.

The flag on the horse was made by using 2 exoforce hands and 2 lances

He has a katana

This shows how the parts are connected, no glue or modding, just rubber bands, and you can see the head was raised to accommodate the face mask and pauldrons

I think it turned out really well

Good job. I especially like the way you used the visors to make those giant pauldrons. Although I think if he fell face first into a puddle he would have a hard time standing up and probably drown at that time.
