Battle at Amon-hen III, the Departure of Boromier. At this point, Merry and Pippin distract the Uruk-hai so Frodo can get away. But while they run they run into another group of Uruk-hai, luckily Boromier shows up and defends them.
About this creation
Remember that ruin formation? there it is.
All the Uruks pour down the hill.
Boromier fights them off with everything he's got.
After he is pierced three times he can no longer go on, and the halflings are carried off.
Then Lurtz comes for one final shot.
This fight is the Absolute best part of the whole movie.
When Aragorn stabbs him, Lurtz just pulls it right in.
Aragorn>"Lay still Boromier."
Boromier>"Frodo where is Frodo?"
Aragorn>"I let Frodo go."
Boromier>"Then you did what I could not, I tried to take the Ring from him, Forgive me I did not see I have failed you."
Aragorn>"No Boromier you faught bravely, you kept your honor."
Boromier>"Leave it! The world of men will fall and my city to ruin."
Aragorn>"I do not know what strength lies in my blood, but I swear to you I will not let the white city fall nor our people fail."
Boromier>"Our people? Our people. I would have gone with you my Brother, my Captain, my King."
Aragorn."Be at peace son of Gondor."
They give him a watery grave.
Legolas>"Hurry, Frodo and Sam have reached the eastern shore! You mean not to fallow them?"
Aragorn>"Frodo's fait is no longer in our hands."
Gimli>"Then it has all been in vain, the fellowship is failing."
Aragorn>"Not if we hold true to each other, we will not abandon Merry and Pippin to tornment and death, not while we have strength left."
Aragorn>"Leave all that can be spared behind we travel lightly. Let's hunt some Orc!
Gimli>"Yes! Ha ha ha!"
That was one of the best scenes, in both the book (or books) and the motion picture! The fight between Strider and Lurtz was one of the best in the movie series - and ended with one of the coolest decapitations in the series, as well!
I love this creation. It's really beautiful. I especially like how you were able to recreate the forest. You did a great job using different kinds of elements to create different kinds of trees. Well done!
