Parsec Pickup, an M-Tronian V.O.A.T.
I haven't finished butchering the VOAT thing yet...
About this creation
A quick little number, used by the M-Tron. I feel guilty about changing the cockpit design everytime I do one of these; they're getting further and further away from the original Blacktron cockpit which is supposed to remain intact. However, I've had trouble finding the 3 faceted windscreen piece on Bricklink, especially in the right colour. Sorry Uspez!

The Parsec Pickup (I know, I know, THAT was the best name I could come up with) is used to quickly and safely transport pallets of supplies and materials across M-Tron bases. You know those rare occasions when you build something and it's just a DREAM from start to finish? You know, nothing fragile that breaks if you breathe too hard, no 'lining up' errors or tolerance problems, no 'if I only had THAT piece' frustrations. Just smooth building, as if the Universe has come into creation for precisely this MOC! Smmooootthhhhh....You have to savour experiences like this in Lego cuz they're EXTREMELY RARE! Actually, the biggest hiccup in this one was the photo quality (still getting used to new camera)

Yes, the click hinge arm is just strong enough to hold up the pallet. I told you man; sssmmmoooooth.

Don't winge about the dark photos too much-space IS dark remember ;)

Underneath: repulsor nozzles.

There was even room for a seat on this one. No siting on studs for you mate. Smooth! Sick of me saying smooth? Smoothsmoothsmoothsmoothsmoothsmoothsmoothsmoothsmoothsmooth.

Opps! Forgot about that one Ben. Uspez is gonna kill me...

Kill you? Nope, I think I'd rather apologize profusely for not noticing this sooner! This is a real gem of a VOAT. The idea is extremely novel and I love how it looks. The main ship actually is black and red and the other colors seem to be cargo so I'll let this one slide.

Does this Moc count? If it does,5 points for the build,5 points for the story. This is a cool little ship, like everyone else,I like no-stud design.Great job as always Mr.Ocean.One day I'll learn to drop some smack, but it's just too hard...Oh yeah,I've got a question. What is V.O.A.T.,I know what the Acronym stands for,but I never really got the concept.Anyways nice Moc :-)

I know I normally drop smack on your pages and try to give you a good chuckle but. This is a really nice little piece of ship you got here. Hey, I said SHIP! It's about this time of the morning that I start talking to myself. No I don't. Yes I do. anyway, It's 6 am and "our" shift is almost over. I can't believe he is building stuff like this when we have a contest going on. I believe it, he's that good. I don't know, he should be concentrating on other things. Don't worry, he knows what he's doing. Hey Shannon, both of us love your stuff and we'll see you at the MOC-off. Later ~ Chris (and chris...).

It's the pickup truck of the future with built in loading arm and bucket seats! Another great creation. I think I learned a thing or two about your SNOT technique looking at the exploded version.

Even if it doesn't abide by all the rules, I think it's still a very nice MOC on its own. However, I wouldn't consider the pallet to be part of the actual VOAT, so it's close.

Another awesome variation... But technically, isn't using that pallet breaking the two-color rule? Still, it's a great addition to the ship's overall functional look. Great!
