A saddle-tank engine at the East Somerset Railway.
About this creation
Lady Nan was built in 1920 at the Andrew Barclay locomotive works in Kilmarnock, Scotland. This is the first Lego train I bought that is based off a real locomotive, and there are more to come (if I can get the money). On the Desk Railway, she goes under the pseudonym of "Dame Fisherton".
This was the first ever design of Lady Nan, made in a very early version of Lego Digital Designer. It looks nothing like her.
The final version. It's pretty darn accurate.
A head-on view of her. Notice the smaller than standard smokebox door.
Lady Nan compared to another engine of mine, which was inspired by the Andrew Barclay style.
Lady Nan is privately owned. Her owner is seen standing on the footplate. Accurate once more.
