This dio ( I don't know if it's big enough to call it that), was inspired by many of the small things that make it up. The rail gun and tank are examples of this.
Deep in the Swiss Alps, one of many vehicle bays are filled with enough firepower to start a war. But this one holds a secret...
About this creation
ZOMG!!!GULL WING DOORZ!!!! Admit it, you thought it was a landing pad, or a flag, or something, well, its the entrance to a secret, underground hangar. Currently, a bomber is being lifted to the landing zone, where it will probably take off for a patrol mission or something.
Heres a view from an enemy ship, the pilot in shock to find that there was actually a reason his captain told him to patrol the area.
This is my first attempt at a rail gun. I was inspired by the one on Justin Stebbin's Manegarm, check it out if you haven't seen it. the rail gun is probably my favorite part of this dio. Tube along the side adds a nice touch.
The backside of the hangar, with three generators, probably for powering the gull-wing doors and the rail gun. I can't imagine why the actual hanger wold need any power.
Heres a close-up of the two tanks coming out of the garage and the ship rising from the hangar. I definitely prefer the tanks to the ship. It never really came out how I wanted it. I think it still looks pretty cool. :)
