The Many Treasures of Indy
Through piece-finding, painting, and building, I managed to recreate the three main treasures of the three original Indiana Jones films. Enjoy!
About this creation

The first of the three treasures, from Raiders of the Lost Ark: the Ark of the Covenant.

The Ark supposedly contained the original Ten Commandments. My Ark is made up of a gold treasure chest, a few "clawed" pieces(for carrying), and six small, painted pieces representing the angels on top of the Ark.

The Ark without the carrying handles.

The Ark with the handles, now being carried by two German troops down to the truck.

Surprisingly, even with the handles, I found out that the Ark fit perfectly in Lego's Opel Truck.

The Ark being opened. This is where Belloq(or in this case, a German soldier) unleashed the power of the Ark, killing anyone who eye-witnessed the opening ritual.

Next, the Temple of Doom's treasure: the three Sankara Stones. It was believed by many that anyone who claimed ownership of the five Sankara Stones(3 in the movie, watch the movie to find out about the other 2) would be able to conquer the world.

"The legend says that when the stones are brought together...

...the diamonds inside them will glow."- Dr. Jones

The final treasure of the trilogy, appearing in the Last Crusade: the Holy Grail. This is the cup that Jesus himself drank from at the Last Supper, and the same cup that caught his blood at his crucifixion. Anyone who drinks from it is granted eternal life.

"He chose...poorly."- Grail Knight.

Indy chooses the simplest of the many cups to pick from, since Jesus was a carpenter, his cup wouldn't have been very flashy.

"You chose...wisely."- Grail Knight.

A final pic of the artifacts and of everyone involved in this Moc.

The ark is one of the best custom arks I've seen. I love the stone glowing effect(that's my favorite treasure in the movies), but the Holy Grail was supposed to be gold on the inside, and wooden on the outside.

Very good job! I may have to borrow your idea for the Sankara Stones soon, if you don't mind.

Topsey, don't be rude, there's no specific way to make rocks. I think it is a stand up job, and lack of crystal skull: no problem (they already have a company distributed one anyhow!) yeah-rah I say!

You forgot the Crystal Skull though. I think the Sankara stones could have been done a little better still. Good day
