United States Colonial Marines
"comon marines... move it"
About this creation

The marine core is the most versitile fighting force in the galaxy. it is the united states 'force-in-readiness' who are available too fight on alien soil at all times.
colonial marines are adepts in all methods of combat and are highly trained in knife fighting , making them deadly with or without weaponry.

the primary weapon of the USCM is the M41A Pulse rifle.

-99 rounds per clip
-fires 10 mm explosive caseless ammunition
-highly effective against all lightly and unaroured targets

the main light support machine gune of the USCM is the M56 Smartgun

-999 shot ammunition box
-infra-red tracking system 'aims' the gun for the marine
-effective against all unarmoured targets
-harness removes recoil and helps aim the gun for the marine

UA-571C Heavy Sentry Gun system
-500 round ammo drum
-infra-red thermal sight
-10x28 mm caseless ammunition
-360 firing arc
-remote control computer system

obviously most of the weapons are at the least a bit oversized. especially the pulse rifles. but i was going for the shape they have in the films and im very happy with the final shape

I'm a fan of the original "Alien" and "Aliens" sequel as well (not quite as much a fan of the ones after that). I love the work you've done on all your Alien dioramas. They are so detailed and exactly capture the feel of the movies. I really loved all the equipment in the 2nd movie so this is one of my favorites of the ones you've done. Nice job on the actual Alien too!

Thats great work there Simon. You should make the scene when the aliens are rampaging towards the base, but the machine gun turrets are destroying them as Ripley and the other MArines watch the ammmo quantity go down. This i think was only in the directors cut version. btw what should be my next alien moc
