My entry for Joris' UFO contest... Roswell meets the dark ages.
About this creation
Hey! This is my entry for Joris' Blok UFO contest. I realize the idea was to make a vignette, only I ended up with a Bignette. Don't let it come to ya and feel free to leave a comment. It's also a new MOC, SO OTHER NO-CONTEST-RELATED comments are welcome as well!
Not much to see at the back, except one giant heap of earth, plowed up by the saucer's crash landing. I know, if it's earth it should be brown. Problem: I have about 15 brown bricks... Just imagine it's glowing red hot, or something, okay?
I wonder where Arthur and his knights got the idea for a ROUND table?? Hmmm...
Something still is alive inthere. Two tentacles search the area for lunch. Gotta have something in the dish!
Three fingers each, I bet that's alien!
The trench is still glowing hot.
So what's with the dark ages? A couple of knights and a farmer won't make it that great?!? Okay then; push the button!
How dark can you go?
I used the "Mythical Creatures Lumination Brick" to lighten up the end of the trench.
Dave, when you say 'the planet' are you referring to mars? cause thats where you live rihgt?
anyway, great moc, i love the shape pf the space hsip and the creepy alien arms! maybe you could have made the rocks tan or light grey instead?
I like it

Red rocks can be found all over the planet. OK, maybe not THAT red, but yes... all over. I work and live among some VERY red rocks. Wonderful contest entry. The trench work alone is amazing. Great work.
Wow, thatīs an awesome entry to Jorisī contest! I love the idea, and the execution is perfect! Itīs great how you made it look to be crashed into a rock formation, and how the bewildered knights approach... But my favorite part is the creepy alien inside - very impressive! Steffen
I'm gonna give you a pass on the red rocks thing cause the "landing trench" is awesome. nice take on the whole theme. Not only did most of the other guys set it on a farm (as noted in other comments) but you also made it so the ship is, how shall we put this, unable to make the return trip. Good job. ~ Chris.
My camera is messed up, otherwise my entry would have been an Indiana Jones MOC entitled "Roswell, 1947". I hate to see these therefore, but this looked cool, and similar to my idea. It's also funny, but what's with the red rock?
