I made this MOC in honor of the Oregon coast USA. I live in Washington where you have to search your brains out to find a sandy beach, so I loved the vast sand flats of Oregon. What? I only put two layers of tan pieces on this MOC? Look, it's Laygoes not radical beach politics. Live with the grass.
Oregon also has many large cliffs surrounding the beaches that are capped with wild berry bushes and overhanging trees. (Thus the name)
Yeah, during the good days a nice pretty Bach song should be playing, but during the night we need Frédéric Chopin's prelude in G minor. Have any of you heard that song? Probably not...I have a weird music taste: Heavy metal and classical.
I don't usually like saying this about my own creations, but I really like how the tree turned out. You might recognize it from my MOC-off creation, but I added a few more leaves when I got one of the new Agents sets.
Oh, and please do not think I am trying to keep up with Eggplant Wizard's rocks. I'll do that this fall. =)
I'd like to thank Eggplant Wizard for showing us all how to make better pictures. As you can see I already replaced the main pic.
That's pretty good. In Oregon where my family goes every year, there are huge vast great sandy beaches, littered with shells and logs. Have you ever been to Newport, Oregon? That's where the real deal is. But about your taste in music... Bach and Nirvana? Chopin and Behemoth? Thanks, I prefer The Eagles.
OK, now this is a worthy creation(WAY BETTER THAN MY TROPHY!) I like the tree, and good luck with your rocks...You know, that sand, I like it...but that means NO gigantic holes you dig in the sand...not enough space...bah

Ahhh...takes me back to my childhood, hanging out at Golden Gardens down on Shilshole in Seattle. The surf, the sand and of course all the broken glass peppered about the beach for those of us who didn't wear shoes. Lovely. Great tree by the way.
There's something peotic about the simplicity of this. Nice! Since the closest thing in my area to beach scenery are my fat neighbors stranded by their pool and the environmentalists trying to push 'em back in, I'll take even the rocky shores of Washington! (Ruby Beach in the Olympic area is a favorite of mine, by the way!)
I used to live on the Gulf Coast of Florida and coming from there to here... hang on a sec, let me look out my window... yep, concrete. At this point, I'd love to have those two strips of sand! ~ Chris.
Me like tree, especially the dark leaves. I need more of those, or I need to take some stuff apart. I have been to coastal places where you can stretch out on the sand and touch the water with your toes and rest your head on grass, and I'm not even 5'10". I used to listen to hard rock and classical back in the 70's. Different hard rock for you but the same classical. Weird, huh. garth
I just went to the beach yesterday, but here on the East coast its mostly sand. Strangely enough I don't enjoy the beach much because of the salt water-it always gets in my eyes! =) Nice build though, I like the tree.
