A long range strafer.
About this creation
This is the SandShark, a long range strafer for assault missions. It is powered by a single Holofaux Engine, which produces an incredible amount of thrust, allowing the SandShark to enter and exit warzones with minimal traveling time. It carries a single MCI Industries heavy pulse cannon, which fires in rapid bursts of 7 shots. The SandShark is crewed by both a pilot and a logistics/gunning officer.

This unique pulse cannon is specially designed to extinguish targets in one pass.

The large Holofaux engine was well ahead of its time when it was introduced, though it is no longer on the cutting edge of technology.

The pilot has the foremost position, while the gunning officer takes the rear.

Awesome. I love the off set look of it, and the one engine is very sllek and cool. the gun looks fearsome, as well.

it needs a balanced thrust source. the one sided engine even in space would pose severe stabillity problems. the pulse cannon is awesome though.

I'd have given five smileys, but the gun and engine are so good, the rest of the fuselage is a letdown.

I'm filing this one under "extra swooshable". I like the detail in the engines and the gun; other than those two areas of intense detail, the ship is clean, sleek, and minimalistic. Don't worry about the asymmetricality of it... sometimes this makes a ship look good. I also understand that engine components are often made out of lighter materials than large cannons. This makes it look like the ship has this engine configuration for power and practicality, not looks.

Looks sleek, but would one side tip the balance scale when the ship is flying?
