Star Wars Imperial Forest Base (Endor/Yavin/Naboo?) 1.0 (OBSOLETE x3)
made-up star wars imperial forest base probably best suited for endor, yavin or naboo.
About this creation
***this model's obsolete now, I've broken it up and rebuilt it bigger and better - check out my other creations to see the second version !***

***update : OK, this model is double obsolete now, as it's replacement has been replaced - check out version 4.0 !***

just cuz I wanted to, to make a change from vehicles, I rummaged through my dwindling pile of lego for all the green, brown, blue and light/dark
grey bits I had left, to make some sort of base/campment.
Going by the forest nature I suppose it would be best suited to either Endor, Yavin or Naboo (not that that really matters; it could be in the 2009 Boj-It Imperial Base Showroom for all I know...)
It might not be huge and detailed, but if you saw you much lego I had left you'd agree it's a miracle I've managed to scrape together this much...
To incresa the size I used blue baseplates too; so the base is part water-based, part land-based.

Let's take a closer look....

Here's the main pic of the whole of the base.

The same picture, but from a Lego-Dude-Point-Of-View.

To the base's right is a small clearing where the Imperials park their speeder bikes; we also see the Imperial Gunship has landed there (sorry I run out of baseplates... just imagine the carpet's green :) )

To the left, on top of a big rock protruding from the water, is the communications relay. You might not see very well, but to the ight of the rock on the bottom, a big tube comes out of the rock and goes into the water...

Zooming out, we see a small walkway connected to the rock; joining it to the land; to the right of the photo notice the small enlosure where some scuba gear is stored.

Here, we see en Imperial Nerd working the communications dish, and in front of him through the wall we can see the base's power generator (the various cogs turn but I can't show that in the photo)

A detailed picture of the land-based part of the camp, guarded by two defensive turrets.

It might also be hard to see; but remember the tube coming out of the rock with the satellite dish ? here's the other end of the tube coming out of the water, joining to some sci-fi looking thing connected to the dish controls by a smaller wire.

Here, to make the most use out of the water-based part of the camp; is a platform held by four struts coming out of the water; where the stormtroopers keepa lookout.

To the right of the base, another look at the vehicle park, where a few scout troopers are conversing... I wonder what they're talking about ...

Oh no ! it's the Angry Video Game Scout Trooper with his Game Boy (that's not standard imperial issue :s ...) come to rant about another bad game to his fellow scout troopers ... better leave before he lets loose a random chain of rude words lol !

P.S. If you are looking to buy lego for your creations, I would like to recommend the following Bricklink lego shop ; "About Town, Castle & Train" ( )
I personally know the shopholders, and they are very nice, devoted people. They are currently sponsoring 100% of my 1/3 Lamborghini project, providing all of the parts; and have made various other donations to other models I have made.
The store has a wide selection of parts (over 600,000!), at good prices, and offer an exceptional, fast service (no tax or dodgy exchange rates, next day postage, etc). you won't be disappointed !

nice, I like that white ship, you should work some more on the interior of the base tough but it's a good start
