Allow me to introduce the Boulder, an APC for all your troop carrying needs. I'll let the pictures do most of the talking:
The APC commander operates the forward gauss turret to combat enemy vehicles.
Notice the detail tiles on the dash.
The driver is well protected.
These armor plates raise and lower to protect the driver, but give good visibility when needed.
You might be able to see the hinge asembly for raising the armor plates.
...replete with ammo barrel and blast shield thingie.
The armored door opens and becomes a ramp.
By coincidence, the construction of the SNOT roof allows the roof to open, allowing an easy view of the driver and APC commander.
When I put ths part together, I was thrilled by the way the windsheild fitted with the cheeses in front of it. This has to be my all-time favorite windsheild, maybe because it requires SNOT construction to put it like this.
Oh, yeah, check out the convenient front-bumper storage. A perfect way to "accidently" get rid of the the new guy. "Hey, Jim, can you do me a favor?"
I hope you enjoyed! Please leave a comment so I know how much you love it... or hate it, if you really feel that way.
