Here's some detail of the Auburn's turrets. They're a really new design for me, which I worked on for two days. I wanted the turrets to be able to elevate separate from the base. I've never really liked the design that involved the hinged bricks, because it didn't look to realistic. Here's the design for anyone who wants to replicate the technique.

Heres how the pivot function works. I don't know if you can see from this picture, but the stud on the side of the turret snaps into a one hole technic piece, which let's the turret elevate, separate from the base.
