THe TIE Defender is my favorite Expanded Universe Star Wars starfighter. It has four laser cannons, two ion cannons, shields, hyperdrive, and proton torpedoes OR concussoin missiles OR both. No life-support however, butfully sealed flight suits seem to work fine. Anyways, I made my TIE D. MOC completely equilateral, using a technique borrowed from Gareth's UCS TIE Phantom. Yes yes, I know it's not supposed to be blue, but I wanted it to match with the official lego sets. By the way, I have directions on how to make my TIE D. on my website: www.roxent.com/xfett
I must say this is one of the best defenders I have seen on or off this site. My only real problem is how the wings attach to the body; I never have liked that way of doing it. Altogether pretty clean and the trio of colors is nice as well.
You've out done yourself again, Xerx. I'm only talking about the one on your webpage, which I've seen billions of times. You should check mine out, Scorp already did. P.S. I give you credit for the Defender design.
So then fett you decided to start moc pages superb moc then again im always generouse but scorp im no longer sure about the blue being wrong but one things for certain if the things on the wings are blue then the whole cockpit (excluding window) should be blue
Of course you know I've always liked your TIE Defender, even if it started a war between us. :-P And grey looks much better than blue, by the way. The worst thing LEGO ever did for their Star Wars sets (besides light-up lightsabers and skin-toned minifigs) was decide to make all their TIE's blue.
