This is a fighter for both humans and martians, used as a standard Space Division spacecraft. It has a variety of weapons and engines. It may look like an exploration starship, but has far more than meets the eye at first glance.
About this creation
Here is my star fighter, an Infintite Technologies Fighter, made by both humans and martians. It is realistically sized for a fighter (unlike the fighters barely big enough to fit a person that have a thousand guns, powerful shields ect. that I see everywhere) and is stealthy, fast, and easily held by the hundreds in cruisers.
The long tube at the front may look like a connection between the front and middle engines, but it is more than meets the eye...
It's really a cannon! A very powerful one at that. It is a surprise weapon, and can destroy other fighters of this size, shield included, in two blasts (one to destroy shields and cripple the fighter, the other to finish it).
Another weapon the fighter has are two light lock-on missle launchers on the sides. The pilot sits far back so he can see most of the ship in front of him.
Here is the cockpit. It is lower in the ship to present less of a target.
The windshield opens up automatically. It's much easier than taking the whole thing off and sticking it on again every time I want to get to the pilot.
The pilot has a nice, roomy cockpit, and a comfy chair that can lean back. The controls are simple enough, though the pilot can usually only concentrate on using one type of weapon at a time. The screen on the controls shows a full veiw of the ship so a lower cockpit and the cannon won't block the pilot's vision.
The pilot has a really fancy seat! I've never built such a detailed cockpit before, but then again I've never made a ship this big, or made landing gear before either. This is a new style for me!
The martians can fit in the cockpit too. After all, this ship was designed by both species, so why not make it for both species?
This veiw of the fighter shows the engine at the back, and the rest of the ship in front of it. The engine may look small, but that whole section behind the cockpit is for the engine.
Here is the engine again. It can propel the fighter at very high speeds (not lightspeed, that would be ridiculous for a fighter this size), though it still needs to refuel at a cruiser after every 24 hours of traveling.
These smaller engines help it's agility and manueverability. Without them, this would be a slow turning, jerky fighter.
On the bottom of the fighter is the landing gear. When flying, it can fold up nicely.
Around the front landing gear are a series of machine guns. They can shoot whether the gear is up or down.
Here is the fighter next to a minifig. It's pretty big.
One final shot of the IT Fighter. It has light missles, a cannon, four machine guns, a fast engine, two agility engines, landing gear, a comfortable and spacious cockpit, and a small shield. Squadrons of these fighters can destroy Cruisers pretty quickly.

wow, nice! does your new martian fit in this, or have you scrapped this one too?
I have succesfully kept all Space Division creations intact (except for the Cereberus turret, but that was my worst one), so I just tried the new alien in it. If the legs are re-adjusted and the gun replaced with a hand (but what pilot would fly around with a giant gun anyway), then he barely fits. But he still does, so that's what's important.
