This is the Rapier Strike Armor: Frontline Assault Strike Armor. With Armors rapidly becoming a much more common sight on the modern battlefield, the step to create a 2nd generation Armor was a natural one. The Rapier is designed for basic engagement duties against land based armored targets such as tanks or enemy Armors.
The newly designed 2nd generation Rapier Armor is better than its predecessors in many ways. By integrating new locomotion technology, the Rapier is much more agile and fuel efficient. Using new balancing systems, the Rapier is also a more stable firing platform. These two essential characteristics allow the Rapier to outclass many of the 1st generation Armors still in use today.
While older Combat Armors were relatively clumsy, the Rapier is human-like in its agility and appearance.
The Rapier's generous weapon load out is designed for anti-armor and occasionally anti-aircraft duties.
Although the Rapier's armor is lighter than other similar Armors, its agility is a more effective defense.
The Rapier's cockpit is better armored compared to the Laevateinn. It's capable of withstanding a 120mm round.
The Rapier only requires a single, but exceptionally skilled, pilot. Some competitor Armors require two.
New advancements in bipedal locomotion have dramatically increased effective Armor deployment time.
Excellent work!!! I like the weapons load out, everything is very well layed out on the "arms". Its a little tall for my liking, but that's probably why my mechs have to blow up any nearby trees before attacking I wooded areas... Anyway, nice job! Peace - Patrick
