The new fleet includes new and better ships as well as fighters.
About this creation
Although smaller Hunter-Killer groups are well suited to attacking individual freighters, for larger raids the pirates of the Ninth Death Flag bring out heavier guns and new ship types.
Fighters are not carried with hunter-killer fleets due to their greater expense. However, for larger actions converted freighters carry multiple squads of fighters into battle. The ship with the yellow fuselage is a turret fighter, and the one with the red wings is a command fighter.

The Tiger Shark anti-fighter corvette is back from the previous post. However, the Orca attack craft are not used in full-scale battles due to their vulnerability to fighter attack.
Rail Corvettes are cheap vessels made from the chassis of decommissioned starships, with advanced engines, weapons, and armor plating bolted on. Rail Corvettes act as long-range attack craft, destroying large ships and fixed targets with their powerful gauss cannons.
Nurse Shark corvettes are made from battle damaged Tiger Sharks. Auxiliary engines, armor, and energy weapons are removed to make way for additional missile capacity and a dedicated minelaying system. Nurse Sharks can also occasionally be found with raiding groups, seeding trade routes with mines to disable freighters for capture.

Devastator-Class destroyers are only brought out for major raids. Although they are heavily armed and armored, a large engine array gives them an excellent turn of speed.
