This started as an underwater demolitions mech that essentially got it's form from the orange peices in my personal collection. I have been experimenting with differnet colors of late. This project was originally going to be a smaller 'power armor' design and use exclusively orange peices, but, as they often do, the design took on a life of it's own and this is the result.
I haven't decided whether or not to make it the underwater mech it was originally going to be, but we'll see.
The name came from the fact that it's knuckles drag the ground, so I decided that it could use it arms and legs when walking to increase it's landspeed. Other than that, I haven't really thought much about it's backstory.
p.s. I know that one of the thruster packs is off by one stud. I had to rebuild it shortly before the pics were taken, and didn't notice until I uploaded the pics. alas.
Wow. This would still be a really cool mech even without that awesome color scheme. I have tried to use orange bricks as trim before, but I could never get enough of them to make them anything more than a color scheme faux pas. Nice design, too. The huge arms look utilitarian and articulated at the same time.
This is actually a pretty cool mech... it's the color - don't see much orange moc's these days - I like the command sled. Looks good. Although, with that thruster one stud off, you might find that it has a left turn tendancy. ;-) Cheers!
