EAF-05 "Teucer"
About this creation
The first true interceptor in service in the EA Navy, the Teucer is capable of both space and atmospheric flight. In these photos you can see a Teucer escaping from an exploding PRA secret weapon facility on Terra Nova. (Yes, idea taken from the game “Descent” :p)

Teucers are basically an engine with a cockpit. Sensors and weapons are reduced to minimum, as well as protection. A Teucer is supposed to appear in a fight, launch his four homing missiles, score some hits on damaged bombers, and disappear. Possibly without being destroyed.

Pilots often have troubles piloting a Teucer at his full capabilities. That’s why Cerebrus.inc has put a biosynthetic computer interface. Pilots can send orders and expect them being executed simply by thinking, thus creating what’s probably the first symbiont machine. Yes, it’s very advanced technology for the 23rd century. What? You want more info? Sorry, but then they’d have to kill you. And no photos allowed.

Here’s the building without the ship and the explosions. I tried to put as many tubes as I could, just to give the idea of an industrial or mining (go PTMC!) complex. And I’ve always thought those Aquazone yellow pieces were good for something different from a sub!
What I’m not entirely satisfied with are the explosions, but this was my best idea for them. Suggestions for an improvement?

Another view, showing better the blast door closing and the external entrance, plus the defensive turret. Nothing interesting in it, I know… I decided to add it at the last moment, when I realized I hadn’t enough pieces to build a rock wall on that side :p

The Teucer itself, inspired to the Descent’s Phoenix. As I said, Teucers aren’t much more than an engine with some weapons stripped on it. I have to confess I built the whole diorama because I thought that the ship alone was too small…

Rear view of the Teucer, showing that Exo-force piece that I like so much using as an engine.

Good call with the diorama. It's a nice little ship but I actually like the setting you put it in better.
