This is a HotRod I made, inspired by Apple Pie. He has some Great HotRods of this Scale and I decided to try my luck with one... and I think I succeded. It has a fully exposed and very detailed Engine, a red off-center stripe from the front to the rear, a Steering Wheel with a Gear Shifter, a Seat Belt, 2 Pull-Back Motors on the back Wheels, and a Spare Tire.
About this creation
Here's the side of the car. Gives you a general look of its Shape. I think it turned out well :)

Here is the Back of the Car with the Spare Tire on the back. I love how the Bumper and Rear Lights(with the yellow Blinkers) turned out.

A shot from the Front Wheel. I saw a Shot by Apple Pie like this from the back wheel on one of his so I tried... TRIED.

Here's the Left Fender, a 1x1 Brick with a Stud on the side holds it on in the middle.

The Steering Wheel. The Gear Shifter is a JoyStick base with a Screw Driver slid into it.

The Seat Belt. I know, it kinda sucks but I think it makes it a little more realistic.

The front of the HotRod with the Grill taken off. you can see the Belts on the Engine, my FAVORITE touch. When I saw those rubber bands and those little pully things, I HAD to put Belts on the Engine! =D

Here is the Engine taken out of the car. I made sure I could take it out to show you how it's put together if anyone wanted to know... Which is probably none of you haha. By the way, if you are wondering, that is a tire on that small front dome thingy(I don't remember what it's called >.<) around a round 1x1 Brick.

The Belts again. This time, you can see the bottom one.

Here is how the Carborator(I didn't spell that right...) is attached. Very Simple.

And the last pic is a bit Blurry(SORRY!) but it's all of the main pieces of the Engine taken off to show how they are attached. I think you can tell how they are...

*PLEASE* I have gotten a few Emails/Comments about how I should make the front more "Delicate", but this front-end was PLANNED. I didn't want it to look like a Mazda Miatta could kick its ass. I wanted it to look like a Mean, Bad-Ass Rod than a "Don't touch me or I'll shatter!" Rod. It's Based alot off the Grill on the Black Car(I forgot the company Name) that is in IronMan. The one Stark gets picked up in after he gets home and wants an "American Cheezburger" and, when Staine Asks for one of them, tells him that he has one left, eats it, and then procedes to pull ANOTHER out of his pocket as he sits down in front of the Podium at the Press Conferance. So PLEASE, Don't tell me that I should Change it. Just Imagine what this would look like with a tiny Grill and tell me that it would look better. I DARE YOU. I am studying to become an Artist for Vehicle Body Work(Hoping to go to WyoTech), I KNOW what looks better on Cars; and a tiny Grill... WOULD LOOK SUCKY. If you don't like it, you may state that, if you do, then you may state that too, I don't care. If I get too many comments saying that people hate it, then I MIGHT consider changing it; otherwise, IT IS STAYING BAD-ASS. Thank you for Understanding. ...Or if you DON'T understand, then re-read this whole thing PLEASE.

*UPDATE AGAIN* I have done some Touch-Ups on this Car sence this post. Black Seats with Head Rests, Different Exhaust, Clear(instead of Yellow) Head-Lights, and the Red Stripe now continues over the Mean, Bad-Ass Grill. Which is better that a tiny Grill :D

Wow, (but I have to admit, the seat belt is pretty cheesy) Incredible detail and I love the engine, and I prefer this version w/out steering rather than your V.2

interesting build. i agree with apple pie on the front, too blocky and large. many hot rods have delicate, small grills. beyond that, i'm not a big fan of the spare tire on the back. remember that hot rods were all about saving weight... on the upside, i like the engine, the paint job (will try it out myself some time), and the rear fenders. all in all, nice model with potential for more.

The side profile and engine are the best parts of this. I think the front needs some work as its not quite delicate enough compared to the rest of the vehicle (it looks like it's come off a truck) but other than that this is a v.nice allrounder. 4/5 Well done! : )
