Halo Giants: Warthog
This is the first addition to a new Halo sub-theme of mine: Halo Giants. These are halo vehicles made from lego to an action figure scale. This was a bit annoying, but still fun to build. It has reclining seats, wheel suspension, a movable turret, gas pedals, and a winch on the front.
About this creation
See? Big.

The front of the giant warthog. I even put lights on the front.

The side.

The back. Lights are here also.

This was the best design I knew for the windsheild, but it turned out better than I thought.

The seats. Fully functional and able to recline.

Due to the construction, the steering wheel can lower, so I tried to get a shot of the gas pedals in the bottom.

The front of the turret.

The back of the turret. Figures can hold onto the handles. I also tried to add some chain gun ammo on the side.

The back without the turret. You can see some of the suspension on the back wheels.

You can see the suspension of the front wheels by the seats.

And heres the actual suspension.

I was originaly going to use these springs, but before I got half way through the construction of the back, they started sagging. They still look cool though.

Here it is with the bottom plate and steps on the side removed.

Overall... a nice ride.

Again, quite clever, since I don't think they make Warthogs for the action figures.

It would be cool if someone would make an even bigger warthog with steering and full four wheel drive. It would have to e very big to fit that in though. I reckon the wheels need to be a bit further away from the body.

The only improvement you should make is on the turret, you should use more than a technic rod to make a minigun. At this scale, you could make individual barrels.

Very cool! It's great that you decided to build at action figure scale, because now you can add so much more detail to them compared to the minifig-size ones. For instance, I never knew warthogs had 2 front teeth-like objects on the front. Keep that style up, I think your scale style is unique and needs to be used more :)

In response to Jax: it would be cool to make a cheif, but this used up all my good green peices(As you can tell if you look at the back right of the hog) I was thinking of making an elite and ghost though...
