Backstory on Subapoc: Subapoc is a branch-off of Legohaulic's popular theme, Post-apoc. SO without further ado, meet my first hardsuit, the SAR (Submerged Advanced Reconnissance) Mk 1 Hardsuit.
Over the last 3 weeks, I've completed 3 different suits, this being the third. The first 2 were not worth posting, [to say the least] and I was close to finishing with a few other ones.
One of my goals for this suit was to make it look makeshift. [a signature of post and subapoc] I think the pressure gauge and light on the left arm help the look.
The helmet design is mine, but the oxygen tank [clone marcobinoculars] on the back is my brother Jonathan's.
If you look closely, [at my bad photography] you can see how it attaches to what looks like nothing, but the front end attaches to a little slot into the back of the rebreather mask. And the arms are attached to the midsection of the oxygen tank. [binouclars]
The hardsuit's only about a head taller than a minifig, as seen in this shot.
Roger that, switching visor to M4573R CH33F mode.
So what's next you ask? How 'bout some post-apoc minifigs?
WOW! how did I miss this! great work man.. very very creative.. I like it specially the studs on the legs.. nice idea.. and I like it when that poor mini-fig goes down ;p keep up your nice work >>> peace.. Fofo
