How to build your own General Grievous!!
These are instuctions to build my ever so popular general grievous which now has over 11,000 veiws. So now any one who has the time and the pieces can build one
About this creation

hello. My name is trade federation battle droid #13649857329067301758309. Im here to show you how to create your very own General Grievous.

lets look at the pieces we will need.

here is the body

these peices make the feet

you need 4 droid arms

you also need 1 general grievous head and two of this other piece. other tools are a thin paperclip, wire cutters, and a dremel or drill.(if you dont know what a dremel is, its a very useful tool and you should look it up.)

here is the body. it is made up of 1 skeleton body, 2 white minifig arms, and any thing you would like to use as the chest pieces. (we used cut up bits of plastic)

to connect the minifig arms you must first cut off the skeleton leg stubs that allow the actual legs to connect. then take a dremel/drill and drill a hole through the center of where the stubs used to be. you have to be EXTREMELY CAREFULL or you with either ruin the the part with a crooked hole or drill through your fingers.(im not responsible for any injuries you might accidentaly inflict upon your self so please,no lawsuits.) as for the size drill bit it needs to be big enough to fit your paperclip through and small enough to fit into the tiny hole on the connecting side of the minifig arm. drill through both minifig arms as well and connect them all together with the paperclip by staightening it out, folding it in half and inserting it into all the holes.

next you need to drill a hole for the T shaped shoulder pieces. use a drill bit that is the same, if not slightly smaller, size as the the rods on the piece. once again, drill very straight and dont drill any further that the spine of the part

this shows how the paperclip has been bent over to hold the parts in place

do as you will for the chest pieces. hot glue works fine for connecting

here is the T shaped piece and 2 arms

connect them like so

insert them into the body via your newly drilled holes...

like this

use these for the legs

like so

connect them to the hands of the minifig arms to give your figure legs

add the head and here is you completed general grievous!

nice overall design ... i especially like the legs - the profile of them looks really close to the way they look in the movie. I'm gonna try and make me one similar to your design, but with a few changes ... wish me luck. :)

Todd told me Ryan would eventually post his new stuff... ...But I take it that he built you, a mere droid, to do this for him??? ;) (For those of you who care, Todd Wheelhouse is part of the Wheelhouse family, one of my friends, and now has a mocpage)

Although purists will not be happy (and your ratings will show) I think this is a very creative (and better looking) way to build a minifigure Grievous. Good job! I look forward to more of your work! Nowhereman
