Nidahk touched the Toa Stone. A bright light enveloped him. He felt a strange change inside his body. Suddenly, the light disappeared.
Kongrahk: “Congratulations, you are now a Toa.”
Nidahk: “Yeah... It feels kind of... the same.”
Kongrahk: “Well, take a look at yourself.”
Nidahk looked at his arms, legs and touched his mask.
Nidahk: “Wow! This is weird... but pretty cool!”
Kongrahk: “If you like that, try your elemental powers on that rock over there.”
Nidahk: “But how do I do that?”
Kongrahk: “Use your mind, and focus.”
Nidahk tried something, and suddenly, the rock started floating.
Nidahk: “Great! Did you see that?”
Kongrahk: “Yes, I did. Apparently, you are a Toa of Gravity.”
Nidahk: “What am I supposed to do now?”
Kongrahk: “Follow me. We will provide your equipment.”
Nidahk follows Kongrahk through another hall, though this one is a lot shorter.
Meanwhile, somewhere on a small island...
Dahkurahk: “So you’ll do it?”
Someone: “How much does it pay?”
Dahkurahk: “We will be happy to give you whatever you want, as long as you succeed.”
Someone: “I’ll do it. But you’d better keep your promise, or I’ll snap you in half!”
Back at Daxia, Nidahk and Kongrahk enter a large room, filled with equipment.
Kongrahk: “Nidahk, this is Vortaxx. He will give you your equipment.”
Vortaxx: “Hello. I see you already carry some weapons.”But I have something for you that’s much better than that hook.”
Nidahk hands Vortaxx his hook. Vortaxx gives him an impressive-looking sword.
Nidahk: “Looks sharp. I like it.”
Vortaxx: “Oh, it’s more than a normal sword. It’s very sharp, and it can fire freezing beams. Come on, try it.”
Nidahk aims the sword at a wall. The sword lights up, and then shoots a beam. The wall is quickly covered in ice.
Nidahk: “This has got to be the best day in my life! EVER!!!”
Kongrahk: “Now, I will explain your mission to you. You, and two others, will find Makuta Dahkurahk, and capture or kill him. Don’t think this will be easy, though. Dahkurahk has all sorts of powers, both for hiding and for fighting. He can shapeshift, become invisible, and is extremely powerful.”
Nidahk: “But why do you want to find that Makuta in particular?”
Kongrahk: “We’ve recently found out that he, and possibly other Makuta, are working on some kind of plot. We don’t know what their exact intensions are, but we have to stop them.”
Nidahk: “All right, I understand. But you just said ‘you, and two others’. Who are those two?”
Kongrahk: “I’m glad you asked.”
Two other Toa walk into the room.
Toa 1: “Hello Nidahk. I’m glad your ok. I was afraid you would have drowned.”
Nidahk: “How do you know me? I’ve never seen you before.”
Toa 1: “Come on, Nidahk. Don’t you remember your best friend?”
Nidahk: “Notuka? You’re a Toa now too?”
Notuka: “Yes I am.”
Nidahk: “How did you survive the attack by the Nui Jaga?”
Notuka: “Well, after you fell of the cliff, Kongrahk appeared and teleported me here.”
Nidahk: “Thanks Kongrahk!”
Kongrahk: “It’s my job, but thank you anyway.”
Nidahk: “And who is that?”
The Toa grinds his teeth, and then responds.
Toa 2: “My name is Fernax. And unlike you, I am not happy to be here.”
Nidahk: “Why so grumpy?”
Fernax: “I have my reasons.”
Kongrahk: “It’s a long story...”
