LAAT/i "The Liberator"
My LAAT/i - The GX-120, better known as the Liberator!
About this creation
This is my heavily modified LAAT/i Gunship, The GX-120 - better known as the Liberator, this type of gunship was created by BK.Ind for transporting large numbers of clones and for re-enforcements. Just a little note: I dont have the new gunship from the clone wars, I had the orignal one that lego made from Geonosis on Episode II...
Soooo, lets start:
The Front View

The Side view, the Liberator is longer than any other gunship,

The Back:

The front guns,

The dual cokcpit, the forward pilot is coloured gold

The GX-120,

The Side laser gunner clone dude, I remodelled the whole thing and gave him a proper seat.

Now something I drastically modified: The inside thing:

zzztttch - I got the idea for this in the car, when i was having a conversation about cars and doors, which lead on to different types of doors, and sudennly the light bulb lit up!

So here it is: Four clones ready for action!

I had to extend the top, because i had streched out the bottom:

Here is an engine access point:

Now, the original Lego gunship had no missile things, so i made my own - i tried to make them look like the ones out of episode 2:)

On the side, i have added fins, and three chainguns, for your droid destruction conveinience!

I remodeled the engines aswell,

and the missile shooting end, I made it more thicker, just more 'screen acurate'

The Back didnt change that much,

except for the back of the carrier bit, i put a rear exit hatch there:

Even though i added the new panels to cover the clone carrier bit, i still kept the old ones!

This is the most important bit of the LAAT/i, when i finish the gunship, i lifted it up and the bottom fell off, and SHATTERED!!! you have no idea how frustrated i was!!! So i devised these cunning things to hold the gunship together!

When they are removed:

The top can come off!

What holds the panels on are quite simple

Fully open

I tried to give some attention to detail....I TRIED

The lower half and the top half, just not together!

The BK.IND Logo....sortof..

A top view of the gunship

Its longer than my laptop!!! (my laptop is actually quite small!)

Thankyou and PLEASE...PLEASE...rate or review this...PLEASE!!!
This is the next model - The Vindicator, Which I will post in the E.C.A Contest!

To me it looks a bit like a beat up old ship, but the two side doors are a nice touch and they give it a cool and different feeling, nice job.
