Hmm ... well (Lol) ... what can i say about this abomination to Star Wars ... well, to begin with - i'm actually a hardcore Star Wars fan ... and in my defence, i did this for my 12 year old daughter. As i'm sure you guessed by now, she's a big fan of SpongeBob ... but she also likes Star Wars stuff. So anyways, she wanted a "cooler" spaceship for her minifigs - one of MY ships ! ... so after getting sweet-talked out of one of my LAAT's, i then got begged into customizing it with some "SpongeBob" stickers. Ughh, you have no idea how hard that was to bring myself to put those stickers on it ... but once i got started, and after careful consideration as to the placement of each decal - in some strange way, it began to look goo'--, "ahem", it started to look goo'y--, "cough"... (umm) well, let's just say it started to look unique and interesting. And so, after the deed was done, i decided to take a few pics, and try to write a story-line that might possibly "somehow" make me feel better (Lol).
About this creation
Oh, almost forgot ... here's the goofy story i wrote to accompany this modified LAAT ... i hope you enjoy it - and not "cringe" too much (lol).
During a quiet weekend at Shadow Force HQ's, the silence was suddenly shattered by the most strange laughter - which had travelled upon a faint signal (from another galaxy far, far away) and was now being heard by a communications officer for the very first time.
After boosting the signal, the communications officer was then able to get a visual feed as well ... and was shocked and stunned by what he discovered ... a cartoon marathon of SpongeBob Square-Pants ?!?
Of coarse, his first thought was "What in the Galaxy is a Sponge Bob Square Pants ???" ... his second thought was "Yeeesh! , that hidious laughter could possibly be used as a secret weapon."
So he promptly starts recording the signal, so that it can later be submitted - along with his report - to his superiors ...
And so, to make a long story short ... the Shadow Force decided to create an assortment of droids that resemble some of those cartoon characters, and to mimic their behavior.
In times of relative peace, these droids travel in their very own LAAT - as they follow The Shadow Force around the Galaxy. They are programmed to cook crabby patties and feed the troops ... and they also distribute bootleg copies of SpongeBob Square-Pants - to serve as source of amusement and entertainment for the troops.
Oh yeah (almost forgot) ... during times of battle (or sudden attacks), they can also amplify SpongeBob's annoying laughter at the enemy. :P
i really don't want to do this, please forgive me 2of10.you see i'm really tired of spongebob, plus i'm a huge star wars freek.maybe if you retitiled it like sponge wars i would hake laghed and gave it a 5of10,i think you should try your best to make a hard core moc comic about it and have lightsabers maybe even make sandy a jedi and squideward a sith.on second thought since i'm feeling gracious or how ever you spell gracious 3of10 same as the other guy's rating
I gave this a 3/5 and I think that is a fitting rating, don't you? Anyway this is... Um... adjectives escape me.. Well I'll just say it's down right scary. And good heavens man what have you done to you're laat!? I hope that the laat wasn't a rental other wise the republic is gonna be ticked of at spongebob and the other guys..
ƒrôôty gôôdÑ£$$ Lolz..
Hi Mark ... I don't know much about "how" to host a contest (yet), but i have an idea for what we might call it ... The Sponge Bob and Star Wars moc-off - The "dare to be square" challenge ... are you brave enough to merge the 2 together ? ... Lol, so how's that sound ?
That, that, THING is an abomination! It should be burned... although i commend you on your talent at building, and your daring to go where no man has gone before (oops, wrong series!). Overall, nice, but really, really, creepy.
