'Shakir' Heavy Tank
About this creation
AmX19 ‘Shakir’ Heavy Tank™

Speed: 72.5 km/h (45 mph) over even terrain.
Capacity: 1 driver/commander, 1 gunner, 1 communications/targeting officer.
Armor: 100mm reactive ceramic plasteel.
Height: 3.25 meters (10.66 feet) at crown of turret.
Length: 10 meters (32.8 feet).
Weight: 35,941 kilograms.
Manufacturer: Nine Divine Armories
Armament: Two magazine fed 135mm rifled ‘Kabal’ cannons (20 rounds for each cannon), one Vindicus 12mm machine gun.

Lore: The Shakir is the most widely deployed battle vehicle throughout the Paladin military. With multiple divisions existing, and several variants for more specialized applications. The tank is propelled by four independent tread systems, each with their own drive system and suspension, granting the vehicle a great deal of flexibility and maneuverability despite it’s size. The driver/unit commander and communications officer both ride in a forward command cabin located in the center and between the front tracks. The gunner sits snuggly in the turret housing, and has direct control over the main cannons, machine gun, and turret rotation/elevation control.

The tank is well armed with a pair of powerful 135mm rifled ‘Kabal’ cannons, these weapons are magazine fed for a high rate of fire, and can be easily reloaded in the field. The Kabal cannon fires a fin stabilized armor piercing specialized shell, most commonly loaded with a high explosive charge, but variants such as bunker busters, thermite, napalm, shrapnel and ionized EMP rounds can be loaded as well. The 12mm auto cannon is well suited against soft skinned or lightly armored vehicles, and infantry. It is fired from within the turret, keeping the gunner from having to expose himself to enemy fire. This powerful and well rounded unit has seen action in every major conflict, and has become a symbol of Paladin armored Calvary, bringing hope or oppression depending on which side of the war you stand.

I noticed talk about the Turret and MG mount. I have literally no room far chain-fed. However Here is a closer look at the turret. Pictures may be a bit blurry.

Uspez Morbo ? this ones for you. Here stands a Paladin heavy soldier. Carrying a Type2-LVIII'Dragonclaw' Rocked Propelled Grinade launcher.

Looks a little bit like "Mammoth Tank" from Command&Conquer: Tiberium Wars

This is a very cool and very cleanly built tank. No units for this one? I'm a sucker for minifigs but I'll just pretend they're there. I just put the same decals on a MOC I'm working on, such a cool sticker.

It looks great. But I would definitely like to see more overall pictures of this beast.

Just so you know, the MG should be coaxial and a 15mm weapon is more practical than a 12mm, being more powerful. Also, why not have the cannons belt fed? Seems like less effort to reload. As for the build, it is quite impressive. I often have trouble understanding the problems that go into making something I have had no experience with, but this thing looks like it took a great deal of work.

The design looks as though it could be based on the Halo scorpion tank but I'm not gonna hold that against you. It's awesome, no other word to use.
