Mechwarrior: Vulture
Vulture Mechwarrior
About this creation
This is my Vulture Battlemech
Vulture is one of the classic Battlemechs from the Mechwarrior Series.
This is my first attempt at building a mech.
This is also my first attempt with trying to build a stud-less creation.

Name: Vulture / (Mad-Dog)
Faction: Clan
Class: Heavy
Weight: 60 tons
Height: 10 meters
Jumpjets: None
Typical Armament: Clan LRM 20s ; Large Pulse Laser x2 ; Medium Pulse Laser x2 ; MG Array

My Vulture is mini-figure scale, and almost perfectly to scale.
Assume typical person is around 2 meters.
Vulture Approx Height: 10 meters
Mini-figure Height: 4.5 cm
Vulture Height: 23 cm

This is the Picture that I designed my vulture from. It is a computer generated picture from the new unreleased game Mechwarrior: Living Legends

The top portion my Battlemech was very heavy and the legs could not hold the weight on their own. So I had to add one part that is not on the original computer generated image: the black strut on the legs.

Besides this small addition. The Battlemech is comprised of primarily dark gray and dark blueish gray pieces.

How did you make the missles or whatever the little grey dots next to the cockpit are?

my mech had the same prob with being top heavy so i built a facade so the top part would be less heavy and i was able to do it without compromising the structural integrity

Very well done, check out my Nova (I.S. name Black Hawk)and my Elemental. If I may make a sugestion I believe the X-Wing canopy from the Star Wars sets would work better for the cockpit mostly because it cuts down on bricks used. Just a thought, not a complaint.

It's been a while since I've seen MW MOC's. For a first studless creaetion this is fantastic. The scale, the missile racks, the whole thing looks great! Come and check out my take on the Vulture (MW4 version).

Nice, solid model. Could always use improvement though. I's start with some greeblies and some shape variation to break up the blocky-ness and add visual interest.
