Custom E-Web Blaster Cannon
Stormtroopers using the E-Web during the First Galactic Civil War
About this creation

This is my version of the E-Web Blaster Cannon, manufactured by BlasTech and MerrSonn Munitions. In this custom, I tried to achieve a number of things:

1. Size-I wanted every part to be as close to minifig-scale as possible. One big breakthrough was the realization that the half-stud Technic bushel could be used as the dish on the barrel. I also used a pneumatic hose for the power cable, which flexes and is the right size.

2. Accuracy-I kept LEGO's tripod, but I redid a number of other parts, most noticably the grips, which are vertical instead of horizontal. The gun also properly splits from the power generator and tripod.

3. Versitality-In addition to being able to be used by minifigs, the gun can also be used by a short-legged fig (no picture) or, with a simple mod, a battle droid. (I know the CIS didn't use the E-Web)
