Praga V3S
this is one of older czech trucks, but still one of the most popular and one of the best terrain trucks ever made. it has straight 6-valve diesel engine and though it has quite small wheels, it has very adaptable undercart with large clearance height. it has three axles with grasshopper springs. and all wheel drive system. this model took me months to finish and the scale is more or less 1:22
About this creation

well. the first stage was creating of the chassis no.1. but it was too short and the car looked weirdly, so i redesigned the hind part of the chassis and only the front axle is the same. at first my dirty versions were done in rainbowish colors, but now, it is much better, all cabine in yellow :-) this is my only one MOC i have still exposed on shelf :c) and its my best MOC i have ever folded. its quite old. i did it in 2nd and 3rd quarter last year i think, bu i am not sure. this version has pneumatic piston, and it took another hours to redesign the chassis to be solid, with space for the piston, and with the same clearance height. i have almost all functions now.: steering, all wheel suspension, openning door, hood and trap door on the top of the cabine, dump truck with moving side walls and back wall, detailed interior and detailed engine. the model isnt motorized, but it is also too small for adding it (and hey i dont have any), and i think some other details - opening cabine, engine, or interior would be removed to make space for th motors so i think it dont worth it and i think i did my best in this scale. car is 31 cm long, 10,5 cm wide and 12 cm high.
other pictures on my name is petr-stuchly. just click search users and you can see my other MOCS :)

this model had been dismantled. but the undercar is still in one piece. make sure i am going to rebuild it and i have plenty of pictures of the construction process on brickshelf. there is the complete WIP of this model from the first experiments with suspension to the experiments and progressive improvements on the details all over the truck to the final addition of the pneumatic functions (which, though it looks cool, is pretty lame, because it had been a three way tipper as the real truck and it made it to be only a classic dumper. there is not enough room to put the piston in it in right possition, so when tipping to sides, the dump body breaks out.) and more importantly, the dump body seems to be a brick higher than it should be if i wanted to make it really close to the real one, so i am going to work on the chassis and try some new things to fix it up.
i also have new ideas for tha cab (maybe less perfect, but i wopuld be able to make it whole yellow (even the roof trap-door :-P) well. i said that mainly because i want to work on the hinges and window frames on the doors ;-)
and the other thing i want to do is to make more reliable and more comfortable steering (probably on the roof of the cab or behind it. (it uses a rubber band on one place, where the teeth of the gears rubbed other bricks, which was unthinkable, and the steering is on the side which is awful.
i am currently quite busy, but i hope to post an upgraded version sooner or later. i will maybe have to buy new bricks, but why not? :-P this is with no jokes the biggest car i have ever made myself and the most ambitious project i have ever started, but it's a really old MOC, and because the satisfaction from the creating this is gone already, i see the fawls and i have the taste to work on it again :-D

well guys!
see you on the WIP page! (after i will make one :-P)
