Behold, the frost wyrm! This is a version from World of Warcraft; Wrath of the Lich King. Thanks go to Zach Baker for inspiration from his frost wyrm, and also for the idea of skeleton torsos as frames for the body. As you can see, Arthas, the Lich King himself, was also part of this little project. You can check out my new and improved Lich King in my castle gallery.
About this creation
I was able to put it all together in this crude recreation of the preview cinematic for WotLK. I was in kind of a rush to put these photos up, so I didn't have much time to make a really elaborate scene.
The frost wrym emerges from it's frozen casket, ready to carry out the evil work of the Scourge...
Arthas was whipped together in literally 5 minutes. I do plan on improving him, I just had to have something to use for this scene.
From this view, you can see the frost wyrm's icy heart. This is just one of those rubber "shadow bugs" from the 2008 Bionicle sets, and the idea to use it actually came from the way that the bugs sit inside the figures' rib cages in the Bionicle sets.
Dude, can u put up instructions for da frost wyrm plzzzzz? its so cooool, and ive been trying to find designs for a frost wyrm cuz im tryin to recreate the WotLK triler when he stabs forsmourne into ground and makes undead army, im in the middle of the big cliff that over looks the valley of undead.
VERY good indeed... I just LOVE the way you recreated Arthas' shoulder armor (I always have problems getting shoulderarmor to look good on my minifigs) and the sword. It's from one o those minifig bionicles, right?
