Because droid gunship's don't carry people. I bring you the Swallow-class!
About this creation
Good evening, boys, a few girls, and those of you neither (or both), I present you my newest contraption! It's stupid to post MOC's when just about everyone else on the website is sleeping, but that's what you get for living in the pacific north west. It still roxorz here...
Anyway. Vesilath Astronautical Engineering, a small company on the planet Vesila, which will eventually appear in the resumed and re-bettered (word?)Droid Trek, was commisioned by General Grievous and the Confederacy of Independent Systems to counter the aging but effective LAAT/i. This ship was smaller, longer ranged, fast, but less armed than the Republic Gunship. It was made to transport droids into combat when the massive C-9799 could not, and the MTT was too slow. The Swallow, named for it's speed and manueverbility, is armed with 12 missiles, two heavy laser cannons, one rear facing medium laser cannon, and two floodlights, which can be flashed on and off to stun enemy soldiers.
Because I don't know where pictures end up on here, if you see one that isn't lego, that's my inspiration. Those are Raptors firing missiles in the Battle of the Ionian Nebula, from Battlestar Galactica. Best battle ever, from that show. I wanted a ship that could carry people and shoot things up, so I made this. Also, below that one, is the first time Raptors fire missiles, in the Battle of NCD-number number number number. I thought I'd throw it in, after I realized I had that season on DVD.
This is all part of my build up to Droid Trek #5. I'm pulling a Fed, and making a big scene that will be dismantled when I'm done taking pictures. At least that's how I think he does it. Anyways, until it's done, I'll try to post something every day or two. Good night, and good luck. To us Separatist 'scum', that is.
Your creations were the very first i saw (i got a link to your page through somewere) and i would just like to say that you`ve given me alot of insparation over the year and i do NOT regret you being my first seen builder...thank you for how much insparation you have given me.
so this is what you spoke of?it is similar, except for the colors and look, but I have to save the design is almost exact....I have seen this, but I posted mine like half a year ago.....hmm...I would say great minds think alike, but after I saw your 'droid trek' I was pretty sure we weren't thinking alike.....heh heh, - Hunter

Sweet! I love the colors, the place where you can stick the droids, and the cock-pit! Any way great job.
Hey, nice idea to make a CIS gunship! The backs looks really fine, and there's a lot of place in that gunship! Have you tried to see how many battle droids can fit in? Oh, and I can't wait to see your next Droid Trek! Good luck, Mister Awesome ;)
