Quoting jetfire 35
Isn't that just the lego Product towtruck but with a bigger engine?
No parts of it came from there and my idea
of it came from city wide towing company because this truck has got a peumatic system which the pump is used for . They allowed me to take alot of camera shots .The original city wide towing compnay is more bluish in colour. I dot paint or glue my legos so I left it black . If you want to see this is person theres a lego competion open to all ages in silver springs in calgary .

You live in Calgary, Brrrr must be cold.
yea thanks for the tow truck this is life featured in many competions and won so It is a prize winning truck and Its gots leds too for lights too :)
Thanks for your nice comments on my model. I appreciate it.
Your truck was very impressive but I honestly think you should have made it less similar to 8285. To me it looks like you took the Lego model and changed some elements but kept most of it as stock. When I compare your model to the official one
I see many things are identical - the emergency lights, the air filters, the mud guards, the side panels, the roof detail, the steps, the lift arm etc. etc. Even the decals are the same, yet you describe this as a "City Wide" tow truck - their logo is blue and silver and quite different from the red and white graphics you have on yours.
That does not mean your model is not deserving of a win, but I think the judges really look for something that is as far removed from an official Lego kit as possible.
Your plans for the CN Tower or the Calgary Airport are very exciting! I wish you luck with that. Be warned though - very large models may get displayed on the stage at Silver Springs and that divorces them from their category making the judging harder and has caused problems in the past.
You say your passion is trains - why don;t you make some large-scale trains instead? Have you seen this one: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/78129
