Battle Plans, Start of battle.
About this creation
Intro: The Kingdom is at war! King Duncan and the newly promoted Captain Jakys are leading the troops on a march towards the Troll army! They are outnumbered by many and are in need of a plan! What will they do???

King Duncan: "Our scouts said that the troll army outnumbers us. Any ideas for a plan Jakys?"

Jakys: "Well, we are near the new outpost aren't we? Maybe we could hide there and then attack as the enemy comes down the road."

King Duncan: "Won't they expect an attack from the outpost?"

Jakys: "Not this one. This one is still being built. They wouldn't expect an army of our strength to be hiding here."

King Duncan: "Good plan. Tell the men to stop and unload everything here."

The men unload all their supplies including the two artillery pieces which will be vital in the battle ahead...

(This is a picture of the tower I built special for this comic! Tell me how you like it!!!)

Jakys: "Well, everything is unloaded. Now we just have to wait for the troll army."

King Duncan: "Yes, tell the men to ready the artillery. We'll need it as soon as the trolls come."

Jakys: "Yes sir."

Troll Captain: "Where to now? The village or the castle?"

Necromancer: "The Castle! You idiot. I should be in charge of this assault, not a bunch of stupid trolls!"

Troll Captain: "Hey! At least my army has brains. All you have are a bunch of brainless skeletons!"

Jakys: "King Duncan! Look! A troll and... oh no... It looks like the trolls have friends. Skeletons."

King Duncan: "Quickly! Aim that catapult! (Its really a ballista but for my purposes today, it will be called a catapult.)

The catapult is fired! The bolt goes flying through the air, right towards the two enemy commanders!

It strikes the Necromancer, knocking him off his horse! The Necromancer vanishes into a cloud of smoke!

Jakys: "Darn! It looks like we'll never kill that Necromancer."

King Duncan: "Will he come back?"

Jakys: "Not for a while. He has to charge his magic energy for a while."

Troll Captain: "ATTACK!!!"

Sidenote: I have characters talking that may not necessarily be standing next to each other. Troll and Skeleton forces are down on the road, not by the outpost. King Duncan and Jakys are in the Outpost, out of hearing distance from the trolls and skeletons.

Jakys: "Quickly! Form a Phalanx (row of spears) in front of the wall! It's the only way to hold them off!"

(The backbone of the Crown Army is its spearmen. There are usually two rows of light spearmen and one row of heavy pikemen but the space in front of the outpost is too cramped for a full Phalanx. Another important part is the crossbowmen. Behind the Phalanx, there is usually two rows of archers or crossbowmen. In this case however, there is no room for archers so they are in the tower and along the wall.)

Here's a dragon's eye view of the battle. It's just so you can see how many minifigs are out there.

Outro (opposite of intro): The battle is going strong. The Crown Army Phalanx is holding off the opposing army, but not for long... Slowly, the Crown Knights are having to back towards the wall and fortifications. The enemies just keep coming. The tide is turning towards the trolls and skeletons. King Duncan and Jakys need a miracle to win this fight, and thats just what they might get...

I am trying to read all your comics, but this one is the best. I'm trying to make one, when I figure out how to load my pictures and add words I want you to see it and comment on it. Nice tower.
