I gotta say that while I'm pleased with the results, this project was a bit overly ambitious and was a free time vampire. I'm not complaining though, the result is my largest MOC to date at 60 studs long. I started out wanting a Blacktron tank but then I also wanted the Lacerater to be able to dock with it so the this is the result. Now, the back story!
-- Blacktron's original intent for the Kingpin was something much larger. It was supposed to be Blacktron's newest and most powerful capital ship and was being built at Blacktron's top secret shipyard. Blacktron's most gifted engineer, Captain Stilgar, was in charge of construction. When the famous coup occurred giving power to the new Blacktron order, Stilgar was furious. He, with the help of four of his best soldiers and an assault robot, loaded up the largest dropship with the one completed turret and tons of supplies and left the shipyard before Blacktron II totally seized control. Stilgar used what he could and built himself a battlewagon through which he could fight his rebellion. Blacktron II desperately wants to win over his trust but have been completely unsuccessful.
I always admired armed trains from WW 2, but this MOC has overcame them in my mind. Also, I am glad that you managed to put so much detail in this that it can compete with most overgreebled SW or BGS MOCs and I am glad that my favorite way of Space LEGO (Vintage one) could beat those which usually beat it in terms of detail ...

Interesting, I never thought of Blacktron II as being opposed to Blacktron I.
I imagine that there was an elaborate coup against whoever was the Blacktron leader. This could have been carried out by a group of collaborating generals and resulted in the new Blacktron order or Blacktron II. The majority of Blacktron would have traded in their black spacesuits for the big 'B' suits but there would have been resilient individuals like Commander Stilgar who refused to accept the coup collaborators as the new leaders.
It's a great pleasure to see that February give us not one, but two MASTERPIECES of Blacktron M0C : the Mecha by JP, and now this totally amazing vehicle !!! As the others said, there's too much enjoyable things here to fit in a "not ten page long" review. So I would just say the big Blacktron logo ROCKS. It's a fantastic job !!!
Difficult to describe how much I'm loving this right now man. It's bigger and better than I imagined. I'm at work at the moment so I can't enjoy it thouroughly but rest assured I will be back to drool. Go Blacktron!!
This is so perfect that I can't find the right words to express it...It's so great and full of ingenious details! The Nostalgia Factory giant symbol looks also really good on this amazing vehicle!...Congratulations, it is far more amazing than my Blacktron Mecha! I'll have to study your MOC in order to learn more about Blacktron...:)
There is just so much to compliment about this that I can't find it all. The general shape with the treads out front is appropriately menacing, the giant opening blacktron logo on the back is nothing short of awesome, and that little speeder bike is cool too. Great job!
