A minifig-scale motorcycle built in honour of one of my favourite PC games, the "heavy metal adventure by Tim Schaffer", Lucas Arts' Full Throttle. This one's dedicated to my best mate and a huge FT fan, Vick Nowak.
About this creation
Ben is the leader of a freedom-loving gang of bikers, The Polecats. There's not much to say about him since he prefers to keep his stories to himself; one thing's for sure though - Ben loves his bike and doesn't like it when anyone fiddles with it.

Talking about Ben's bike, it's a heavily customized Corley. In fact, it boasts in excess of 6 (count 'em!) exhaust pipes, so you could try and imagine the sound that comes out of those babies.

There it is, Ben's pride:

Quote Ben, "When I'm on the road, I'm indestructible. Noone can stop me."
"But they try..."
Not only Full Throttle fans should be able to guess the outcome of a chainsaw vs. big log fight.
P.S.: This one was built with two things in mind: Of course, I strived to make it as close to the original as possible, but I also focused on finding a way for the rider to be able to actually ride the bike (hope you'll like this, Pedro!). So the construction may seem a bit weird (what, with all those exhaust pipes it does sorta look like an octopus from behind, as Asi here promptly observed), but you should bear in mind that it reflects Ben's Corley and not a "normal" real-life motorcycle. Expect more of those in my future MOCs :)

Great! MOCcing Full Throttle is really a blast, I'm sure you'll enjoy it :) Seeing as this one of my very first bikes, now that I look at it I must agree a lot of thing need reworking... But so far I've left it as it is - I'm thinking of starting a Rottwheeler motorbike as my next "bike / FT" project sometime in the future :) Can't wait to see what you come up with! |

I am not sure about the grill on the fork of the bike, if there were something you could use for a thick bar, like the 1x1 round bricks or the "Technic, Axle and Pin Connector Perpendicular with Extension" piece. This piece would give you the extra width and length perfect for the fork, I think. And the chasis of the bike is very square. Perhaps... You know what. I am going to hit the bricks on this, see what I come up with and get back to you on what ideas I get. |

Glad you like it mate :))) What do you think of the bike, does it manage to live up to the original? I'd be grateful for any constructive feedback you might have! |

Cool, very nice! Its huge and looks like a motorcycle to go on a big adventureous ride... Kinda like what Ewan McGregor did: motorcycling all over the world through the roughest terrains... (I dont know if you saw this on TV, but him and a friend rode through Germany, Poland, etc. - all the way through Russia, Sibiria and further on I think . It was interesting!). The two travels bags look awesome on the bike, BTW. Tons of highway clichs just pop up in my mind when I see your MOC... Steffen
Thanks Steffen :) Yeah, Full Throttle generally fits the long-travelling-lonesome-motorcyclist cliché, but it is a great game nevertheless. As to Ewan's adventures - of course I watched the series, both Long Way Round and Long Way Down... I couldn't have missed them for the world, being the motorcycle enthusiast that I am. In fact, I could hardly wait for the last few episodes of Long Way Down :] Btw, did you check out the sport bike? I'd really like to know which one you prefer!? |

Great motorcycles. I really like them. Also, their mini-fig size, which makes them better. |

Awesome. Fantastic bike and well done staying faithful to the original inspiration. It's difficult getting a minifig to sit on the bike - but you've done this excellently! Well done mate! |

I've never heard of that show though...Keep it up!
It's a game... not a show. And it came out in 1995, of course you haven't heard of it. Btw, I've noticed that you're STILL unable to get that image right, what's wrong?! |
|
Another great bike. I dont like it as much as the other one, but its nice that you made it minifig-ridable. I've never heard of that show though...Keep it up! |

Well I've only uploaded two bikes so far, so I take it that you like this one better than the Daytona then? :) |
