Here is my new model, the Pagani Huayra. The biggest challenge was the color, such few options when it comes to blue. And the fact that technic panels on this car are not fixed to the chassis didn’t make it any easier!
I am really happy with this model and the way it turned out, especially the active aerodynamic system and the gullwing doors.
The car features:
V12 engine, Steering, 6 speed gearbox, Clutch, Full independent suspension, Rear differential, Active aerodynamics, Gullwing doors, Opening hood, Opening trunk.
About this creation
6 speed gearbox: sorry for the seventh gear, there was no way I could fit it in and keep proportions right, unless I used a “remote” system which I am not very fond of
I have the LDD file for this car. Would you mind if I (with the help of Eurobricks member Blakbird) create high quality PDF instructions? If you're interested let me know and we'll get started as soon as possible.
Absolutely fantastic design !
The shape of a supercar is hard enough to model with the traditional lego brick, let alone doing it with technic. You however absolutely nailed this complex supercar shape and there is nothing more i can really say. Simply amazing in it's complexity.
WOW, what a masterpiece! You have more views and likes in 2 days than crowkillers' new Assassin car has in 2 months. One question, why not use the new driving rings from the 42039? Also, your front suspension seems to be maybe a bit unstable with only those towballs holding those size 2 thin liftarms together on each side since the towball axle is shorter than normal. Do those springs put much strain on that area and come apart easily? From the pictures it seems like it could. Still one of the best supercars in technic ever.
You my friend, don't post so often, but when you do you hit!! This is absolutely fabulous, one of the finest Technic models I've ever seen. shaping up a Huayra isn't an easy job but you really did great, and with all these details and features, making it a win moc! A+
This is awesome! Looks great in blue, and the functions are pretty cool. I especially like the active aerodynamics side flaps. One of the best Lego Technic vehicles I've seen in a while. Keep up the great work.
