Batboat . This Batboat is based off Michael Turner's designs featured in Batman/Superman #8 (May 2004). . "A metorite just touched down in Gotham Harbor, I'm off to investigate." "Bruce, can't I join you on this mission?" "Robin, there are times I don't have to explain myself, even to you." Tim goes off to sulk, see Steph, Titan's Tower, whatever it is he does... All systems check out. The jet engines prepare to fire. The source material (cover of Batman/Superman #8) This was suppose to be small enough to fit in the underground river that I'm now building in the sub-level of the batcave. Alas, the pontoons are way to wide to fit, so it will have to be suspended above the far end. I'm still not sure the pontoons are long enough in front, but I'm satisfied. The canopy was red in the comics (but as I don't have a translucent red piece) I used some red translucent bricks on the interior to simulate the effect. I had no idea what the bottom fin/rudder looked like, so I went with the shorter 'bat-wing' piece. Also, even though there were multiple angles in the comic, I couldn't find any evidence of a propulsion system (so I made one up). Too bad Supergirl trashed this version in the comic, it lives on in my Lego Bat-Universe!
