Why?
Porta terraferma - Kopnena vrata Zadar, phase 2 at year 1540 . Building of one of the Zadar's landmarks, Coast doors - Porta terraferma. One of the greatest Renaissance buildings in Croatia, show here in year 1540. . Kopnena vrata or Porta terraferma or Coast doors at Zadar are one of the landmarks of Zadar, Croatia, and one of the great Renaissance buildings. Built 1543 by Venetian architects (Zadar was at that point part of Venetian republic) here is represent at it's building stage. Kopnena vrata at it's present state: And almost 500 years before: Details of building. The main part - the doors, cannot be seen very well, but at this phase, this is not the point of creation. All phases would be built, including finished doors.
