Liebherr LG 1550 . This is my biggest LEGO crane ever! It's controled via control center and it has 6 functions. It's allmost entigherly made with old studded bricks. I've build it for our first KockeFest in year 2008. You can find more info here - http://www.kocke.si/kockefest/18_10_2008.php . The crane had 8 axles of whitch 6 of them were steared and 4 of theme were driven. It's support legs were moved with help of the LEGO pneumatic cilinders. It was capable to drive in all directions. It had one motor for driving and one for stearing. It also had one motor for turntable and three motors for three diferend winches. Because it was made with studded bricks it was controled via old control center and connected with cables. I haven't had any new studless brick then and also non of new PF elements. The entire crane weight was little over 5 kg. It was made with approx. 4000 brick. Because it was my first crane model in that scale it had some drawbacks. But I intend to build even bigger crane some day, in combination with studded and studless bricks and with PF elements ;) And here are the pictures: Here are some details about driven stearing axles and new count weight. At the last picture you can see the payload that was lifted with this crane. That's all for this MOC from me. If you want to know anything else about it don't hesitate to ask me ;)
