A customized Lego Technic red pickup truck (2010) | supercharged V10 . This pickup truck Lego Technic model is special, because not only does it look great on it's own, but it also looks great in front of a special background. . During 2009 I built a 4wd Lego Technic pickup truck, which radiates lots of power. I spent a lot of free time to create this pickup truck from scratch. The main theme was: Bigger is better. The pictures were taken on the iciest and snowiest day in the Netherlands during December 2009. That makes it litterally cool in every sense. Building a stiff and solid chassis was my priority. Most of the parts of this model come straight from the 8466 off roader model. I replaced army green components with black, darkish grey and red. The combination of the solid and stiffer made chassis and the exterior parts make it look basic, yet sporty. During the buildup, I slowed down a bit because of my study. After a busy period I spent a few hours in a week to finish this model. If I would rebuild this from ground to the top, it would take one week to complete it, because I still remember the design. The seats are the same as in the off roader model and I didn't rebuild the gearbox. I mainly focused myself on the exterior, because I wanted to make it look badass. To create such a huge pickup truck, I extended the chassis and replaced the roof parts to create a more edgy window front, making it look old school.
