Exvacator DEC-24 Mk II on video . . Hi there everybody, I finally have a video-camera 8-), so from now on I will include video's of my models so you can see them in action. Specially for this, I decided to rebuild my Excavator DEC-24 (and becauce I like it very much). It was already take apart to use the parts in other models (Yes, more stuff coming up). You can find the original model, instructions and more photo's here. I rarely build something twice exactly the same, and since I aquired some additionsl PF-parts, I decided to add a few details. I bought a second PF wireless transmitter, so the remote-controller was rebuilt to include it. Now the excavator can move and slew at the same time. In the original model, this required swithing the channel on the PF transmitter. I also had an extra set of lights, which i put on the boom. The boom was extended 2 studs, because it was a little to short in the original model. I also changed the hose-configuration a bit. Finally I chose a different colour-scheme which is a bit more conventional. So here's the video I made: Enjoy !!
