FORTRESS MAXIMUS BUILD PROGRESS REPORT 1 ( Jan 2010) . FURTHER PROGRESS ON MY FORTRESS MAXIMUS MOC- HERE ARE HIS LEGS . Jan. 26 2010... I finished this phase of the creation about a week earlier than expected. All signs so far are indicating that this guy will be slightly larger than the orignal G1 toy. Transformation will be basically the same as the original. I never had Fortress Maximus as a kid...this ought to make up for it. Check out the pics of the progress of the leg design. I tried to keep him looking as close to the original toy as I could, using dark red, dark grey, classic white and classic blue. Of course I tiled as many surfaces as I could. You can see the minifig in some of the pics for size comparisson. I am hoping to start to work on the torso this weekend among other projects and have a finished project done by mid March. Robot Mode... Leg cannon details... Fortress Mode (Battle Mode)... City Mode... City Mode Details (openings and ramps)... Fort Max Legs vs. Minifig... Keep it tuned here for more progress...
